    We’re at the halfway point of the year and there’s plenty of fashion news going round to keep us occupied. From new boutiques popping up in Melbourne and Sydney to incense lines and designer collaborative collections soft launched in New York’s meat-packing district.

    Permanent Vacation opens new Collingwood store

    Coinciding with its 10-year anniversary, the Melbourne-based fashion label opened the doors to its flagship store, located inside renowned artist and designer collective Collingwood Yards. The store will be open on Fridays from 12-7pm and on Saturdays from 11am-6pm for walk-in shopping and one-on-one shopping appointments.

    LOEWE celebrates 180 years

    The Spanish fashion House marked the occasion with a campaign shot by Talia Chetrit, featuring global brand ambassador Julia Garner, brand ambassadors Salma Abu Deif, Giselle and Kara Wai, alongside actor Sissy Spacek and artist Kara Walker. The cast appears with iconic LOEWE bags through the decades – the 1980s Flamenco clutch, the 2015 Puzzle, and the newly reimagined 1970s Amazona 180.

    Christian Louboutin unveils AW26 campaign by Jaden Smith

    Conceived by Men’s Creative Director Jaden Smith, and set in a XVII century French château, the brand’s Autumn Winter 2026 campaign portrays a collective of figures brought together under one roof, each expressing their own unique identity through style.

    Coach announces capsule collection with Brain Dead

    Coach has announced the upcoming global launch of the Coach x Brain Dead capsule collection. The collection will launch worldwide on 29 May 2026 at Coach and Brain Dead stores, on coach.com and wearebraindead.com, and through select wholesale partners. The collection debuted this week in New York’s Meatpacking District with a surprise flash runway show held during an immersive theme park-inspired event celebrating the launch.

    Le Labo welcomes incense to its lineup

    Launching from 1 June 2026, and meticulously crafted in Kyoto at a twelfth-generation family-owned workshop, the Le Labo incense is handmade by devoted artisans using traditional Japanese techniques. They will be available in three scents – SANTAL 26, AMBROXYDE 17 and ENCENS 9 – and each set includes 35 sticks and a ceramic incense holder.

    Pandora Launches new ESSENCE collection

    Launching on 9 July 2026, the new, 22-piece Essence collection is inspired by the passing beauty of summer rain. The collection encompasses textural signet rings, bangles and hoop earrings, embellished with delicate droplets of asymmetric stones. Organic pendants and rings evoke the pebbles that scatter rocky coastlines and softly curving bracelets nod to the fluidity of wind and water.

    Good Citizens Eyewear celebrate World Ocean Day

    To mark the occasion, the eyewear brand is releasing 50 limited edition pairs made in Sydney from discarded plastic bottles. The limited release features an ocean inspired blue front, crisp white arms, and your choice of blue tint or premium grey polarised lenses.

    Ralph Lauren opens Castle Hill store

    The American fashion label opened its newest store in Castle Hill this week, located at Castle Towers Shopping Centre, in Sydney’s north-west. The new store features a range of iconic Polo Ralph Lauren menswear and womenswear in a variety of vibrant colours, including mesh polo shirts, chinos, Oxford shifts, caps, t-shirts and more.

    Chaumet finds new home at Chatswood Chase

    Opening its third boutique in Sydney, Chaumet’s new store draws inspiration from local landscapes, reflecting the Maison’s connection to nature. The centrepiece of the boutique is a custom, handcrafted mural by the Australian studio Di Emme Creative Solution, which portrays the interplay between the landscapes of New South Wales’s national parks and the Chaumet naturalist vision.
