Crazy times we are experiencing, that’s for sure! I am on self quarantine and looking to make the most of these days at home. Enjoying catching up with with old friends, and experiencing a sense of togetherness across boarders. Collectively we are realizing that we are really not individuals, but more so organisms which dependent on one another to stay alive. When I go to buy groceries, many smiles are exchanged with people I have never seen before in the moments when we realize the other is also making an effort to keep the 2m distance. Smiles with strangers: something unusaul in a city with almost 4 million inhabitants.
My hopes are high that we are at a major turning point in society, and when we have made it trough this challenge together the garments we wear will have won our love and appreciation back, and the businesses we support are the the small and local ones. The ones who fit our values, like those who are featured in this editorial.
