How do you select the brands for your app? What is a no-go for a brand which would like to be featured on faer?
“Apart from a brand’s collection itself, transparency on sourcing and manufacturing is an important selection criteria. Is production happening locally? What fabrics are being used? Is the brand certified in any way? How readily available is such information? All those things are taken into consideration, and certainly including a brand known for poor working conditions or without any public information about sourcing or manufacturing wouldn’t be an option. We are very excited about the possibilities to create more transparency with the help of technology in this area.”
Which brands are your personal favorites?
“A Kind of Guise from Munich and Med Winds from Barcelona are definitely on top of the list! But there really are so many great brands from all around the world.”
