The best street style from Paris Haute Couture Autumn 2026

Paris is a stylish city year-round, yes, but haute couture week encourages people to dress with a little more imagination. The city might be sweltering through some seriously high temperatures, but showgoers are still going to take to the streets in opera coats and feather jackets at any given hour of the day.

And really, who can blame them, with a schedule this stacked? The week began with Daniel Roseberry’s 15th couture show for Schiaparelli – so good that Zendaya (with the help of Law Roach) whisked one of the looks off the runway and slipped into it for The Odyssey premiere. Next, Jonathan Anderson played with form for his second couture show at the helm of Dior, collaborating with American sculptor Lynda Benglis. Then, Matthieu Blazy proved couture can still be playful, with a CHANEL show inspired by our favourite childhood fairytales, and Pierpaolo Piccioli made waves with his debut couture show for Balenciaga.

Outside the shows, the mood has matched the collections. Celebrities and house ambassadors like Emma Corrin, Alexa Chung, and Sabrina Carpenter have supported designers in pieces direct from the runway, while models have demonstrated stylish insouciance in straight leg jeans, tank tops, and ballet flats – this week’s unofficial off duty uniform.

So as we wait for more shows to unfold, get acquainted with the goings on off the runway, with our favourite street style moments from Paris Haute Couture Autumn 2026, below.

If it’s style inspiration you’re after, we’ve got plenty more where that came from. Shop our pick of the best balloon pants – the style we’re loving from Australian winter right through to European summer. And, take a quick detour from Paris to study up on the Brazilian fashion brands that should be on your radar. You can also see what the RUSSH editors have been shopping this month, with our July fashion favourites.
