Naturally, the nuptials were iconic, with the duo reportedly choosing to tie the knot at Madonna’s former estate at Castillo del Lago, right near the Hollywood sign. I mean, obviously.

Bechtel was born in Orange County, California to a Mexican mother and German father on 28 July 1997 (she’s unsurprisingly a Leo). She’s become something of an IYKYK social media influencer with 1.5 million Instagram followers (and counting).

Who better to dress the woman of the hour than the cult Paris label that’s quickly on the up? Matières Fécales (or Fecal Matter) shared several images of the dress, which features an opulent drop waist, three-quarter sleeves, and a tiered back.
Charli xcx was among her wedding guests
It makes sense, because Charli’s husband, George, is also part of The 1975. Also in attendance was Anastasia Karanikolaou, Devon Lee Carlson and her fiancé Duke Nicholson, Alex Consani, and Quenling Blackwell.

Yep, Bechtel previously fronted an indie alt-rock quad called Nasty Cherry, alongside drummer Debbie Knox-Hewson, guitarist Chloe Chaidez, and bassist Georgia Somary. The band was formed and mentored by pop darling Charli XCX, who apparently recruited Bechtel for the band before she’d even heard her sing: “I was just kind of like, ‘Look, even if you can’t sing you’re a fucking rockstar… and you’re in.’”
